Terms and Conditions

Peru Inkas Top is committed to providing you with a vacation experience that you will enjoy to the fullest and remember for a lifetime. Before booking a trip with us, please carefully review the following Terms and Conditions.

Rates

All prices are listed in US dollars. Any changes in service rates, taxes, fees, and/or currency exchange rates may result in a revision of the final price. The agency requires a 50% deposit of the total cost of contracted services, which can be paid through authorized payment systems. The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before arrival in Peru.

Services Not Included

The following are not included unless expressly stated:

Documentation

It is the client's sole responsibility to comply with applicable immigration laws and carry valid documentation required by authorities. Passengers must keep their documents with them at all times during their trip.

Insurance

We strongly recommend travelers purchase travel cancellation insurance, international medical insurance, and repatriation coverage. It is also advised to consult with your physician, update your vaccination card, and address any health-related travel concerns.

Luggage

The client is solely responsible for their luggage. The agency is not liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration that may occur during the trip.

Hotels

The quality and content of hotel services are determined by their official tourism category. If the agency must change the confirmed hotel due to special events or circumstances beyond its control, it will offer a hotel of equal or higher category. Additional accommodation, food, or transport expenses due to delays or missed connections (weather, strikes, etc.) will be the client's responsibility. Unless otherwise specified in writing, all rooms are standard type.

Refunds

If a client wishes to cancel a reserved tour, they must send a request by email. Peru Inkas Top will provide written confirmation of the cancellation. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

These penalties apply because services such as flights, train tickets, Machu Picchu entry, and hotel reservations are often non-refundable and must be purchased in advance.

Specifications

Booking any service with Peru Inkas Top (hereafter "the Agency") implies full acceptance of these General Conditions by both the Client and the Agency.

Air Tickets

Air tickets can only be rescheduled before the departure date and within the Peru travel zone (e.g., Cusco, Arequipa, Piura, Iquitos, Cajamarca, Puerto Maldonado, Lima, Juliaca), subject to airline availability and fare conditions. Additional penalties may apply for rescheduling flights within six months of the original travel date. These penalties are the client’s responsibility. Peru Inkas Top acts as an agent only and is not liable for airline performance, including accidents, delays, personal injury, material damage, or death.

Important: A 100% "No Show" fee applies for the Nazca Lines–Paracas air route if not canceled at least 7 days before the departure date.

Inca Trail

Inca Trail permits (2-day or 4-day) are non-refundable and non-transferable according to the Cusco Regional Directorate of Culture. These services are reserved and paid at the time of sale due to limited availability, and no date changes or substitutions are allowed. A 100% penalty applies for the Inca Trail entrance fee.

Trip Modifications

The Agency reserves the right, for technical or operational reasons, to partially or completely modify the itinerary or services before or during the trip. Unless otherwise stated, hotel changes will be to accommodations of equal or higher category at no additional cost. Clients are not entitled to compensation for such variations.

If the client suspends or modifies the trip for personal reasons after it has started, they will not be entitled to any refunds or compensation. The Agency may cancel or change the itinerary due to unforeseen events such as strikes, weather conditions, or roadblocks. If the client continues with the trip after changes are proposed, it is understood that they accept the modifications without the right to further claims.

We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time if, in our opinion, it compromises the quality or safety of the experience, or due to other events beyond our control (e.g., protests, canceled flights, weather).

Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

If any service failure occurs, the client must notify the service provider listed in their confirmation and the Agency as soon as possible. It is the client's responsibility to understand the restrictions of airfares they are purchasing, especially promotional fares which typically do not allow refunds, date changes, or modifications.

Agency Responsibilities

The Agency is responsible for the full delivery and quality of services described in the travel program, in accordance with its responsibility clause and client rights.

IMPORTANT:

By booking any service with Peru Inkas Top, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms and conditions. The Agency is not responsible for any inconvenience arising after this information has been provided and explained to the client.
